We shine a spotlight on Dr. Emma Kate Evans, DACVECC, our Chief Medical Officer, Specialty Services.

Dr. Evans received her DVM at Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a small animal rotating internship in Richmond, Virginia, followed by an Emergency and Critical Care Residency in Cape Cod, Massachusetts and became board-certified in Emergency and Critical Care in October of 2018.

In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Evans is an integral member of the Central Partner Team. Prior to opening the Urgent Care clinic, Dr. Evans did an enormous amount of work behind the scenes. She set up our online appointment system, helped customize our practice management system, Instinct, and somehow found the time to write over 60 client handouts. Simply put, Partner Veterinary Urgent Care would not be open without her efforts.

As we prepare for our Emergency & Specialty Centers to open, Dr. Evans will once again be busy putting all of her remarkable non-medical skills to work.
