We shine a spotlight on Amber Mau, our Human Resources Partner.

One of Partner’s first hires, Amber spent much of her time researching and analyzing internal administrative systems that would best support the efficiencies and scalability of the company while considering the needs and ease of use of Partner team members.

This included researching, implementing, and supporting Partner’s project management system, Wrike, that tracks all tasks needed to open the Urgent Care and future hospitals.

Amber also implemented, customized, and electronically automated workflows around Partners HRIS and Payroll systems including:

  • New Hire Onboarding Packets
  • Time and Labor
  • Team Community Board
  • Payroll and Documentation Storage
  • Recruitment Application

Amber’s efforts allowed Partner to efficiently and effectively onboard over 30 new team members in a few short months while maintaining connections to team members throughout the onboarding process.

So what is Amber up to now? 

She’s busy managing 360 integrations with all benefit carriers to automate and streamline data communication, and researching, developing and launching a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to support Partner’s team members and their families. 

She is also reimaging and designing all workflows and internal policies related to the Human Resources department.

In collaboration with department managers, she writes company job ads and job missions supporting the company mission and values.

We cannot imagine Partner Veterinary without Amber, nor would we want to.
